Street Market Report - April 26th, 2015

It was our 255th consecutive Sunday market at Pigeon Park!!!

Despite warnings of rain we had a great Vancouver cloudy day.

After welfare, the number of vendors was down quite a bit, but lots of customers came out to buy.

Operations were quite smooth. We had to kick out a few bad actors, but the day went remarkably smoothly.

Apparently, it was International Pretzel Day.

A great great day for a market...

There were a few volunteer changes at the top this Sunday. It made all the difference. We were able to kick out the trouble makers much more easily, and cut down substantially on the divisiveness.

Onward and upward. The market will ever improve and continue to provide opportunities for the residents of this neighbourhood.

Financial Report (Apr 26)

1) 50/50 Raffle: $36.75
2) Tents/Tables: $220.70
3) Coffee/Pop Sales: $403.05
4) Popcorn: $58.50
5) Donations: $10.00 (Another Internet subscriber!!)

Slushy machine should be on the way in time for the summer weather!!!

Total Revenue for the week: $739.00
Total spending for the week: $341.58

Petty Cash now = $2,062.67

It is definitely time to buy the slushy machine...

Vendor/Market Summary

We counted 109 Vendors at noon.

Only 26 Vendors on the unit block during the market this Sunday. Welfare is certainly the largest effect on this number.

Number of tents deployed = 40
Number of tables deployed = 12 x 5 foot tables, 48 x 6 foot tables, 40 x 4 foot tables
100 total tables deployed during our event.

Our extra porta potty arrived, so we again had two bathrooms for our event.
