Street Market Report - April 12, 2015

This was our 253 consecutive Sunday market.

Fast heading toward our 5 year anniversary on June 7th, 2015

The weather was great. There was a threat of rain for a while, but that passed until about 6:30pm.

Apparently, it was Grill Cheese day, and also Licorice Day!

What an odd tidbit of information...

Another interesting event today, an economics professor from SFU and his partner walked by and gave us very high praise. They said that this market was a "wonderful example of community working together", and gave us a small donation. Thanks, James!!!

Also at the market today, was "The Farm". A new dispensary that opened up around the corner on Columbia Street. They sold great hotdogs for $0.50 and collected more than $400 which they donated to the street market. Thanks guys!!!

Vendor/Market Summary

We counted 171 Vendors at noon.

Number of tents deployed = 40
Number of tables deployed = 12 x 5 foot tables, 48 x 6 foot tables, 40 x 4 foot tables
100 total tables deployed during our event.

Bathroom use was recorded as 78 in the morning, and 103 in the afternoon.
We only had one porta potty for the past several weeks because opening up during the week means that one of them fills up. We are looking into an extra cleanout per week, or another porta potty.

Next week our extra porta potty should arrive.
