Street Market Report - September 08, 2013

It was cloudy, and not too hot. The sun came out a few times to brighten the day.

In the morning, we had a brief incident with someone sleeping in the middle of the park that did not want to move when we started taking the hose out. He briefly ran at me and started threatening me. Experience has taught me that the argument will just drag on and on unless you threaten to call 911. So this is what I did.

There was also another incident later in the day, where a guy with a mega phone was walking around the park yelling "rock, powder, down". We told him to stop, he told us to f*-off, and then I called the cops. We had received a complaint last week about this person and could not let him hurt the reputation of the market by openly selling drugs.

In the morning, I collected two testimonials from local vendors. You can view the videos at:

The garbage pile was enormous this week.
