Street Market Report - Mar 3, 2013

It was a good sunny day. No rain. Hints of spring were everywhere. The only trouble occurred at the end of the market. 

Fund Raising Report

Total = $171.45

Total now in Petty Cash: $1,221.76

Vendor count: 50 vendors @ 10:05 am

No vendor count taken later in the day, but the market was full

General Report

Tim S did a great job again in the morning for the drinker's group, Rhonda came in the afternoon and also did a good job. 

The weather was great, so it was a challenge getting the vendors to clear out in time. Many vendors were left on the street at 5pm when the streets were opened, and even at 6pm, there were many vendors still in the park. One vendor started setting up at 5:45 and started threatening me when I tried to tell him that the market was over. The police did eventually come and intervene after a female friend of his started to pretend to have a knife and was threatening to stab me. It was generally good fun for all. I hope these vendors do not come back to the market. 

In the end, the park and street were completely cleaned by 6:15pm or so when the garbage truck came.
