General Report

A very uneventful day.

In the morning, someone called in a complaint about my car parked in the event parking spot. Luckily, I was there when the meter person walked up and told them that I was a coordinator and that the spot was event parking. Some people have nothing better to do than to try and gob on a parade...

We had a visit from Tim Houchen, our VPD contact. I think that he enjoyed the market.

All the volunteers were coached on Saturday to keep an extra vigilant eye out for stolen goods after what happened to one of our vendors last week.

Tim S did a great job again as the EIDGE liaison. DJ did an extra good job as well.
We only had one person sent home for not doing their job.
Tent crew again worked miracles for our set up and tear down time. At this pace, we could probably handle about 30 tents total, and this is probably the limit of what the park could support. When the Great Beginnings money is available, another 10 or so tents can be purchased slowly and folded into themarket.

One woman fell down and we had to call an ambulance. Before that a man was having seizures and needed help. Two ambulance calls during the day is not too bad for a crowded market

Garbage truck came on time at around 6:20, Park was cleared by 6:15 (we had one belligerent straggler who eventually packed up and left)

Items of the day include a wonderful Budda (wish that I had a lawn for this beauty), and a man with a bunch of tires.

Enjoy!
