The weather was unseasonably good again this Sunday.
The VPD did come by early in the morning and actually helped quite a bit. They went up to a large gathering of people (obviously selling something a little suspect) and poked their head in the crowd. It was a cell phone, and they took and said they needed to see who the owner was. Great stuff. After this, they walked around and made a comment about a knife that one of the vendors was selling.
We did have an incident with Fred again. He was loitering outside the church when the church was not open. I asked him to leave and he did.
Reverend Barry and I talked at the end of the day and we agreed that if he was going into the church, this was fine, but if he loitered, we were allowed to tell him to leave and stop bothering the vendors.
We had about 150 vendors. Despite the great weather, it was the week after welfare and this kept the numbers down somewhat...
