Street Market Report - June 3rd, - $153.81

It was the first Sunday in June, not as sunny as you would want, and a
little chilly.

We now have 6 tents up total, 3 on the street and 3 in the park - 2
tents purchased from street market revenue. More vendors are coming up
and asking if they can rent a tent, or want to find out how the
positions of the tents are decided. It seems that this should be an
item at the meeting.

Flyers were made for the June 10th meeting, Do we want to do some
posters before the event? It is booked for 9:00am at the Dodsons. We
also asked Beth at Jacob's Well whether we could use the space for a
regular vendor meeting on Saturday afternoons, and she said that she
would ask the board, but did not see a problem. This would enable us
to move the regular volunteer meeting out of VANDU and hopefully
transform it into a vendor council meeting. This could be one of the
agenda items for the June 10th meeting.

Total revenue for the day was $153.81

1) 50/50 Raffle = $31.25 (260 tickets on first roll, 69 tickets on
second roll =>329/4=82.25 - $41 - $10 = $31.25)
2) Table Rent = $42.00 (Tables have now generated over $311, a net
profit of $100 since they cost $200)
3) Coffee/Juice = $56.95 (tried to add pop and freezies today, not hot
enough, not many sold)
4) DNC Sales = $23.61 (Pretty big day for the table, we had help from
Ann and Dave M most of the day)

$12 for cigs for volunteers
$20 for Jacek for the day
$10 for a new table

We also got Waves Coffee to sell us 1,000 12 ounce cups and lids at
cost ($115), so we now have enough coffee cups for a long time. The
lids make a big difference when people buy a large.

Total revenue for the street market thus far = $1,499.10

Out of the VANDU administered DNC grant money ($225 for the day)
$20 was spent to pay back debt to VANDU (debt is now $140)
$20 for breakfasts (I think some people did not show up)
$20 for Lorna
$40 for Dave H
$40 for morning shift (Rocky, Glen, Dave D, Louise)
$2 for Andrew (Dave H did not think he was in shape to work and sent him home)
$40 for afternoon shift (John, Michele, Brian, Rob P)
$20 for Charice
$20 for cleaning crew (Bud, Elvis)

Total spent was $222 ( I have $3 in a zip lock bag that I will give
back to Aiyanas)
