revenue to date... $183.25
Here is how we did it.
1) 50/50 Raffle: $48.55 (427 tickets sold =>$106.75 - $53 - $10 =>
$43.75 magic $5 showed up when we counted again. ooops)
2) DNC Sales: $37.50 (A record day. Less is more. we didn't put out as
much stuff, and we got more sales)
3) Table Rent: $40.90 (Did not rent one table, magic $0.90 cents showed up)
4) Coffee/Juice: $56.30 (good day, no iced tea, but we had pop)
We also had two wonderful people that helped us with the bannock
project. Mary Ann, with AFD brought around 100 to sell at our table,
and sold more than half of them, and I had already loaned Tracy $20 to
buy ingredients to make bannock. We had both of them for a while and
sold more than 100 bannocks between them. This is a proof of concept,
and we let them keep all of the money for this day, and will work out
a revenue sharing deal for next week!!!
Total = $183.25
Debbie Anderson Eng did not show up, and the cops really did not seem
to have a larger than normal presence.
We had one incident when one of the volunteers got a ticket for public
urination, so we'll have to fight that one. Maybe they will be
convinced to drop it if we get then to give us porta potties.
It was a good day considering that it is late in the month. There were
lots of shoppers, and lots of people voiced their support for the
market.
We will probably buy another tent this week. This will make three
tents total that we've purchased from market money alone.
