Street Market Report - June 21, 2015

Another great summer's day.

Mostly uneventful. We had the occasional altercation between vendors, but nothing the volunteers could not handle.

We had three security guards working today. Ideally, we would like between 2 and 4 assisting the RPIC's to keep control. Each security guard has a radio, and a log book. We need to work a bit on our logging skills.

It was our 263'd consecutive Sunday at Pigeon Park. It was National Aboriginal Day, Father's Day and also the Summer Solstice (I guess this is why I keep seeing documentaries on Stonehenge these days...).

We had another brief visit from our VPD liaison, Aaron Road. He walked through with his partner and identified some pornography that was not properly covered up. We warned the vendor again to make sure the material was covered, and he complied.

If that is the worst that they could find at the market, then the work of the volunteers is truly going well!!
